Connect

Relationships are like bread and water to a college student. You need them to survive. The heart and soul of the BCM are the close friendships built upon a heart relationship with Christ. We plan a number of groups, activities, parties, studies, and get-togethers, but the purpose of it all is to experience the true meaning of Christian love and family-worshiping Christ with every aspect of our lives.
We participate in the full life of the campus: from every intramural you can think of to the full range of student volunteerism and community/campus service. Make the most of the friendships waiting for you!

Discipleship

Living is all about growing and our spiritual lives are no different. Our goal is to help people grow and mature in Christ by facilitating bible studies, prayer events, and other activities that foster healthy Christian fellowship. Be sure to check out our Bible studies here.

Missions

As Christians, we are called to show the love of Christ to those who are around us as well as those around the world. As a BCM, we have several opportunities to do just that. From Spring Break missions to weekend trips to caroling in a nursing home to leading a Disciple-Now at a local church, there is an opportunity for you to serve. Listed below are our Spring Break Missions Opportunities. Some of the deadlines to sign up for these trips have already passed, but you can always pray for the teams participating--they would greatly appreciate it!

Greece Mission Team

ATHENS, GREECE WORLD CHANGERS: Walking in the footsteps of Paul and the apostles, the team will be working with World Changers doing street ministry, building relationships with area youth, pickup basketball and soccer, music in the squares, block parties, and “as you go” ministry along with clean up and construction. The team will have the opportunity to help with the approximately one million refugees in the city, to help with an on-going ministry to the gypsy people, and other ministry as the need arises. They will experience firsthand the work of international missions as they support and serve with the missionaries who work there day in and day out.
We want to share the love of Christ in many different ways with the goal of leading people to Christ and helping them to make contact with area Christians. It is our deep prayer to be used by God in an area that is seeing God touching more and more lives for His Kingdom!

New Orleans Mission Team

NEW ORLEANS, LA: Over 3 years after one of the most devastating storms in history struck the gulf coast of Mississippi and Louisiana, the rebuilding effort is still going on. Many people have not moved back into their homes because there isn't enough money to clear the lot of the old home to start work on a new one. There is still a great need in the city for social ministries to the children of those affected by the storm. The BCM in partnership with the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement will be taking a team of 150 students to New Orleans over Spring Break to bring some form of relief to these people. We will be working to clear lots, rebuild homes, tutor children, and helping local churches as they try to reach out into the still-hurting community.

Outreach

Before Jesus left, he told us to go out and make disciples of all nations. College is the most opportune time to reach out to unbelievers on campus and to witness to them. The Outreach Ministry here at the BCM seeks to reach out to our campus and be Christ to them through evangelism, dorm outreach, intramurals, internation student outreach, and the promotion of BCM events.
