About Us
The Baptist Collegiate Ministry is a student organization dedicated to connecting students with students and striving to make a dynamic relationship with the living Christ as the center of our lives. As a college student, you want a place to lead and use your abilities for something significant. We are open to all students — not just Baptists! The BCM is an accepting and fun place to meet new people, develop in your faith, and build friendships. We are excited about what you will do for our campus! Come by the BCM center and see what we are about: we are the corner of Chandler Road and Harvey Drive, across from Eagle Village. Miles for Missions..."takin' it to the dawgs!" is August 16-24!!
Miles for Missions: "Takin’ it to the Dawgs!”-- • On August 30, Georgia Southern Eagles will be playing UGA in Athens! • Miles for Missions: "Takin’ it to the Dawgs!” is a two-day bike ride (on August 28 and 29) to transport the official game ball from Statesboro to Athens. • Aug 28, coach Hatcher will be presenting us with one of the official game balls to transport by bicycle to the game! • The Georgia Southern BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministries), along with local businesses, individuals, and students, are sponsoring this event to raise funds to support students who will be involved in spring break and summer missions, ministry and community service. Each spring and summer, the Georgia Southern BCM sends hundreds of students to serve throughout the US and around the world. • Local businesses are showing their support of Georgia Southern students through sponsorship and participation in our t-shirt promotion. • Individuals and teams will select a 25 mile section of the relay and get per mile pledges and ride that section of the course. CALL 681-2241 for sponsorship, participation and other questions! This SUMMER, a number of students are serving through the BCM Student Missions program in Georgia, across the US, and around the world! Spring Break Missions:
